The exhibition “Finnish Innovative Design”, organized by the National Museum of Montenegro and the Embassy of Finland, opened today in the Montenegrin Art Gallery “Miodrag Dado Đuric” in Cetinje.
Ambassador of Finland Perti Ikonen, who opened the exhibition, pointed out that innovation and design are of key importance for Finns, as they shape their way of thinking, as well as that all member states of the European Union are very competitive in the field of innovation and design. Ikonen hopes that the exhibition will serve as a source of inspiration for the domestic audience.
The exhibition consists of ten panels that show creative approaches to solving complex technological innovations, from the design of information and communication technologies, shipbuilding, design in health care, medical electronics, to innovations in the advanced furniture industry.
The exhibition “Finnish Innovative Design” started this year’s exhibition season in the Montenegrin Art Gallery “Miodrag Dado Đurić”.
The exhibition was designed by Jarno Peltonen, former director of the Design Museum in Helsinki, and will be open until April 30.
