The National Museum of Montenegro organized the traditional Museum Night event last evening, during which all museum units were open to visitors free of charge. Numerous citizens and tourists had the opportunity to explore the permanent exhibitions and temporary displays, discovering the rich cultural and historical heritage of Montenegro.

Following the museum visits, the programme continued in the courtyard of the King Nikola Museum with a concert by Jelena Petošević and the iconic Montenegrin alternative rock band Gospoda Glembajevi. The audience enjoyed the band’s distinctive sound, which blends rock, jazz, pop, and ambient music, bringing another successful Museum Night to a memorable close.

By marking the International Museum Day and the European Night of Museums, the National Museum of Montenegro joined museums in more than 150 countries worldwide, highlighting the important role of museums as institutions that serve society, culture, and its development.
