20 May

As part of the programme through which the National Museum of Montenegro is marking two decades since the restoration of Montenegro’s independence, a workshop on creating Montenegrin national symbols was held today – the third event dedicated to this important anniversary.

The workshop was organized in cooperation with the Cultural Centre of the Royal Capital of Cetinje.

Through play, imagination, and creative activities, children had the opportunity to learn about the history, traditions, and cultural heritage of their country. The central activity of the workshop was the collaborative creation of a large Montenegrin flag, symbolizing unity, belonging, and respect for national symbols.

The workshop was attended by children from the “Pipi Longstocking” Preschool Institution, accompanied by their teachers Jelena Stojović and Jelena Vučinić, students of the “Petar Lubarda” Secondary School of Art together with their teacher Gordana Tomašević, as well as numerous interested passers-by.
