Linden Film Fest – the third festival of feature and documentary films in Cetinje, a permanent manifestation in the field of culture of importance for the city of Cetinje, will be held from May 31 to June 6, 2024 in the National Museum of Montenegro.

The organizer of the festival is “LINDEN PRODUCTION” D.O.O. Cetinje, with partners: National Museum of Montenegro, Capital of Cetinje, Center for Culture of Cetinje, Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, Film Center of Montenegro, Cinematheque of Montenegro. The media sponsor of the festival is Radio Television of Montenegro.

The festival will last 7 days and will have 4 official selections, of which 3 are competitive and 1 show selection.
The competition selections are: the selection of a feature film and a selection of a short feature film, as well as a selection of a documentary film in which there will be a feature film and a short film; in addition to them, there is also a review selection of the Montenegrin Cinematheque. Linden Film Fest will have a rich film program in all the mentioned selections.

The structure of the Festival consists of:
The director of the festival is Marina K. Darić, fine artist and producer.
The president of the festival council is Dejan Dabić, film critic and longtime selector
Festival of acting achievements in Niš, editor of the Niš cultural film program
center and artistic director of the Belgrade March Festival.
The creator of the idea, artistic director and main organizer of the festival is director Milutin Daka
Daric. The producer of the festival is Mirela Adrović, a longtime producer
Budva City Theater. Members of the festival council are Branimir Bane Žugić and Nada
Martinović, which also covers marketing, public relations and part of the organization.
The IT service is entrusted to Svetlana Jovanović, and she is responsible for the design of festival solutions
Katarina Čelebić in charge.
The festival selectors are:
– for a feature film directed by Milutin Daka Darić.
– for short feature film, director Milorad Milatović, last year’s jury member for
selections of short and feature films of the 2nd Linden Film Fest.
– for short and feature-length documentary film directed by Sead Šabotić –
until recently the selector of the documentary film competition program at the Film Academy
to the Herceg Novi – Montenegro film festival.
– It is important to mention that the students of the Drama Academy will have equal participation with
professionals in the selection of a short feature film, with the selector being consulted
with student mentors.
The members of the jury for the short film are:
Sara Đurović, Andrija Mardešić and Andrija Mugoša.

The members of the jury for the feature film are:
Dejan Dabić (president), Pavle Simonović, Igor Vujović.
In addition to the film program, this year’s Linden Film Fest will traditionally have a rich one
accompanying program, during which we will have the opportunity to visit exhibitions of painters, video-
artist and conceptual artist Nikola Simanić and photographer Balša Rakočević,
as well as an organized visit to the NMCG for better familiarization with the cultural and historical
tradition of the Capital of Cetinje and Montenegro.
The editor of the music program is the violinist Tanja Ševaljević Bogdanović. U
the “Nuova” orchestra, “Piva Jazz” band and
Cetinje choir “LUCA”.
This year’s five-day master class will be led by a Hollywood, American Balkan actor
origin Jack Dimić (Jack Dimich), a wide, multi-decade actor and in general
film experience with over 100 roles in film, television, theater.
The focus of Linden Film Fest this year will be on regional local film, as well as on
European and Asian films, against this background we will have the opportunity to watch the latest
titles from all mentioned productions.
As part of the opening ceremony, awards for outstanding contribution will be presented
Montenegrin
cinematography, as well as thanks to the sponsors and partners of the festival, namely:
– with sadness, a posthumous award to the actress, fighter for culture and art, Ivana
Mrvaljevic
– to director Vladimir Perović
– to producer Sehad Čekić
– sound designer Igor Vujović.
Linden Film Fest will be closed with a ceremony awarding the best
film productions and authors. Namely, it is about the awards: for the best film,
best direction, best male role, best female role, special effects and
special award for an innovative and special approach to a topic and an idea.

There will be no charge for film screenings at the 3rd Linden Film Fest.With such a decision, the organizer wants to promote the largest possible participation of the local and Montenegrin audience in general, as well as an additional offer for tourists and visitors, providing an open place of public cultural and artistic life.
