The role of the museum pedagogue is extremely important in the transformation of museums into dynamic centers of education and cultural events. Their ability to design and implement various activities, as well as to successfully communicate with visitors of all ages and interests, is key to achieving the goals of the museum’s educational program. Through interactive workshops, guided tours, lectures and other activities, museum educators can inspire, educate and encourage visitors to think critically and further research. This approach allows museums to become more inclusive and accessible places for all members of the community.

In order to improve the museum’s program, our pedagogues Tamara Đuranović and Bojana Sjekloća participated in the 7th international professional-scientific conference in Velenje on the topic “Schools, Kindergartens/Museums and Galleries”. The conference is considered the largest event of its kind in Slovenia.
