At the Montenegrin Gallery of Art “Miodrag Dado Đurić,” a creative workshop entitled “Faces of Our Traits” was held, dedicated to marking 125 years since the birth and 50 years since the death of Miloš Vušković, a distinguished Montenegrin painter and caricaturist.

The workshop, designed for children aged 8 to 15, aimed to introduce the youngest audience to caricature as a unique form of visual expression. The program included a guided tour of the Art Museum exhibition with a special focus on Vušković’s works, a discussion on the history and development of caricature, and a practical session in which participants created their own caricatures – portraying themselves or others in a witty and imaginative way.

Through this creative process, children had the opportunity to explore their own traits and develop artistic expression, while at the same time learning about the importance of caricature in our cultural context.

The workshop was led by the museum educators of the National Museum of Montenegro, with all materials provided for participants.

The photographs from the workshop capture part of the atmosphere and enthusiasm that marked this educational and creative program.
